Yarrangobilly Caves....Blue waterholes ..all in the snowy mountains

Glory hole cave (self guided) yarrangobilly has a aboriginal meaning similiar to mouth or teeth and i think this might be why .scary place it think

Fishing of yarrangobilly river ..boy 2 caught a trout............... OMG LOL...unlucky fish

THermal pools at yarrangobilly............2mtre depth and a breeding place for southern bango frog (or pobblebonk..the big fat toadlike but not frog)

If you are looking for a nice campspot ..blue water holes or aywhere along the long plains rd is great ..the further in you go the more isolated you become ...blue waterholes at the end is wortha stay ..self guided alpine walks and caves (sadly well visited) dingo in calling from ridge to ridge at night ..kangaroos raiding camp at night .
Yarrangobilly Cottage or river spot is also well worth a stop ..river/trout/water rats/and tiny birdies .....toilets(composting type)

and everything else you need.........shops a long way away .
